Gestione Ispezioni / Inspection Management

Caro Fornitore, ti comunichiamo che a partire dall’11 maggio 2026 sarà attiva la nuova sezione  “Gestione Ispezioni” che andrà a sostituire le sezioni “Convocazioni a Collaudo” e “First article Inspection (FAI)” presenti nella macro sezione “Quality Documents”,  attualmente utilizzate per comunicare le date in cui è possibile presenziare all’ispezione del materiale come indicato dalle procedure da Hitachi Rail STS. 

Hitachi Rail STS pertanto segnala che:

• Le sezioni impattate dalla modifica di cui sopra resteranno regolarmente attive sino al 30/04/2026. 
• Le sezioni impattate dalla modifica saranno disattivate il 01/05/2026 e non sarà possibile effettuare alcuna convocazione dal 01/05/2026 al 08/05/2026.
• Per quanto sopra tutte le richieste di convocazione con necessità di intervento Hitachi Rail dal 01/05/2026 al 18/05/2026 devono essere rigorosamente  inserite nelle sezioni in vigore prima del 30/04/2026;
• Tutte le convocazioni in cui la presenza di Hitachi rail è richiesta dopo il 11/05/2026 saranno automaticamente travasate nella nuova sezione “gestione ispezioni”. 

Attenzione! 

A partire dal 11/05/2026 per poter inserire una convocazione nella nuova sezione “Gestione ispezioni” dovranno essere tassativamente rispettati i seguenti vincoli:

• Deve essere presente un PFC – Tipico APPROVATO collegato al Part Number per cui si richiede presenziamento all’ispezione;
• Le Fasi in cui Hitachi ha richiesto presenziamento devono essere correttamente registrate all’interno del PFC – Tipico all’interno della sezione Piani di Controllo.

Per quanto sopra qualora emergesse qualche discrepanza, procedere a richiedere l’aggiornamento tramite il servizio “HelpDesk” o contattare il Supplier Quality Engineer di riferimento dando chiara evidenza della problematica (riferimento PFC e modifiche da inserire). 

Le tempistiche di richiesta convocazione vincolanti dal 11/05/2026 sono le seguenti:

• 5 giorni lavorativi per ispezioni di serie H e W
• 10 giorni lavorativi per ispezioni di serie H e W in cui il cliente finale di Hitachi rail STS è coinvolto
• 15 giorni lavorativi per ispezioni di FAI – H1

Dear Supplier, We would like to inform you that starting May 11, 2026, the new "Inspection Management" section will be active. This will replace the "Test Calls" and "First Article Inspection (FAI)" sections in the "Quality Documents" macro-section, which are currently used to communicate the dates on which it is possible to attend material inspections as indicated by Hitachi Rail STS procedures.

 Hitachi Rail STS therefore informs you that: 

• The sections impacted by the above change will remain active until April 30, 2026.
• The sections impacted by the change will be deactivated on May 1, 2026, and no test calls will be possible from May 1, 2026 to May 8, 2026.
• As per the above, all requests for inspections requiring Hitachi Rail's presence from May 1, 2026, to May 18, 2026, must be entered in the sections in effect before April 30, 2026.
• All inspection requests requiring Hitachi Rail's presence after May 11, 2026, will automatically be transferred to the new "Inspection Management" section.

 Attention! 

Starting May 11, 2026, in order to enter an inspection request in the new "Inspection Management" section, the following requirements must be strictly met:

• There must be an APPROVED PFC – Typicallinked to the Part Number for which attendance is requested at the inspection;
• The phases for which Hitachi Rail has requested attendance must be correctly recorded in the PFC – Typical in the Control Plans section

Should any discrepancies arise, please request an update via the "HelpDesk" service or contact your relevant Supplier Quality Engineer, clearly highlighting the issue (PFC reference and changes to be made).

The binding deadlines for requesting an inspection call starting May 11, 2026, are as follow:

• 5 working days for H and W series inspections
• 10 working days for H and W series inspections involving the Hitachi Rail STS end customer
• 15 working days for FAI – H1 inspections
